APR 21-23: Clean Toronto Together & Ward 14 Community Environment Day

During the winter, litter debris can accumulate amid the elements and reveal itself in the spring defrost. By working together, we can bring our neighbourhood back to tip-top shape in no time at all – 20 minutes is all it takes (but if you’re on a roll and need more time, go for it!).

Clean Toronto Together is a City-wide initiative that unites thousands of residents, students, businesses, organizations and community groups to help keep our City clean. If you see litter on the sidewalk, tree bed, parkland, lane way, or any other public space, you can collect it using FREE white GLAD bags from Pizza Pizza (1721 Bloor St W at Keele).

Also on Saturday April 22, join Councillor Gord Perks for Community Environment Day at Sorauren Park between 10am and 2pm. Bring your used or unwanted electronics, household hazardous waste, fluorescent bulbs, unused medications, batteries, propane tanks, and oils to be safely removed. Leaf compost (limited to one cubic metre per household) is available for pickup as well. While supplies last.
