The cherry blossoms are almost here and we’re expecting around 300,000 extra people heading to High Park to visit the iconic Sakura trees. You can take advantage of the crowds through our BIA’s 4th Annual ‘BLOOM by the Park Cherry Blossom Celebration’!
Share your cherry blossom-themed promos & events with us and we’ll promote them at no cost to you. Online registration for your promos/events is now open. SUBMIT BY APRIL 12, 2026. (Alternatively, you may submit your promo to BIA staff via email: info@bloorbythepark.com)
(PLUS: It’s back! You could win up to $250 in our BIA’s Cherry Blossom Storefront Decorating Contest. Complete your display by April 17th.)
Peak Bloom:
Estimated to take place late April or early May
Plan to run your promotion for a minimum of 2 weeks

Pink-coloured or cherry-flavoured items
Offer a free or bonus item (eg. free pink donut with drink purchase, free appetizer with minimum spend)
Create a hanami picnic box or combo
Beauty, Fitness, Health & Wellness:
Limited time offer or discount (eg. BOGO)
Gift with purchase (eg. skin/hair care, candles, planners)
Host an event or offer services featuring sakura-themed experiences such as; nail designs, tea, lotions, etc.
Offer a free Spring class, workshop or individual session/demo
Retail & General Ideas:
Discounts or offers on new releases during peak bloom
Sell and highlight cherry blossom, pink, or cherry products (eg. apparel, hats, jewelry, skincare)
Host a workshop or learning session related to your business or products (eg. nutrition, stretching)
Offer a guided trip to High Park on behalf of your business (eg. bike ride, photography)
Offer a free or bonus service (eg. free spring bike tune-up)
